The challenges in coming forth to this milestone
Sharon Au who is the Head of STYLEXSTYLE shared with us that the lifestyle fashion industry is very saturated and competitive. As a startup, Sharon felt very lucky that she has both the endorsements and sponsorships from Mediacorp which enable her to leverage on their multi-platforms in accessing on many resources.
‘It has been very fun even though young people can be very fickle and everyone’s taste on social media changes rapidly. We can’t really pinpoint or target what people really want. Fashion and beauty business is ever changing and evolving. We want to let people know that at the end of the day every moment counts. We need to just go with it and do with no judgement. This is why the photography exhibition is titled, ‘Eternity In A Moment’; everything is so transmundance’, said Sharon Au.
Eternity In A Moment
Sharon Au do not want STYLEXSTYLE to celebrate her birthday for the sake of celebrating it by spending money purely on a party. Sharon wants to take this opportunity where STYLEXSTYLE can do some good. All the artistes who have put in their time and efforts really want to do something for all the beneficiaries they pledged too.

The Next Achievement
Going further into deepening the conversations between STYLEXSTYLE, the young people as well as those who are lost are what Sharon Au aims for.
Sharon said, ‘I realised that in this entire era, everybody is ranting on social media. It seems to be a very wide platform but because of the space of it, it makes it very overwhelming empty as well. There are many people who are able to voice but they are not able to get the kind of verification that they need. So I want to deepen that kind of understanding of how to live life as it is. This will be in a more meaningful way, not just to a groupie; not just to follow trends but we want to understand and let each other explore like what is worth exploring.’

Sharon Au is looking forward to create more engaging activities such as this photography art exhibition where she and STYLEXSTYLE can get to know people more in-depth.
‘Online can be very fun but it is virtual all the time. You don’t actually get to see your friends and customers. By going through the process of those operating events, you will get to know people with a human touch.’ Said Sharon Au
