Aiming to promote travel to Japan, JAPAN RAIL CAFE will provide Japan lovers with a one stop Japan like experience including the latest Japanese products such as trendy items and convenient rail ticketing service for Japan rail passes. It will also serve as a platform to communicate unique information to Singaporeans on the less known travel destinations in Japan.
Platform for “Real Japan” & Real Communication
At JAPAN RAIL CAFE, Japanese communicators who are proficient in English will communicate with the café users introducing unique destinations in Japan to travelers who are planning for their upcoming trips. Travelers can look forward to sharing their itineraries with one another to explore places that are popular among Japanese but not yet widely known to foreign travelers.
“Just in time to commemorate SJ50, we are very glad to be able to offer JAPAN RAIL CAFE as a permanent physical space to build a community for Japan lovers to interact closer and come together to share their experiences on travelling to Japan. Through regular interesting onsite activities such as scrapbooking and other interactive workshops to be held, we aim to promote more interest in the less well-known sightseeing regions for adventurous Singaporeans who actively plan their own itineraries even few months prior to their trips”, says Makoto Yamataka, General Manager of JAPAN RAIL CAFE, Singapore.
The café space is divided into 3 parts; dining area, which will also be used as an event space during workshops, rail pass ticketing area and retail area.
