EDWIN Watch’s Story
EDWIN Denim was started in 1947 in Japan. It is the number one heritage denim brand in Japan.
To expand the legacy of EDWIN denim, EDWIN Watch was born. They are created to make classical designed, good quality and affordable watches.
All of it started through inspirations by the lifestyle of skateboarders, barbers, tattoo artists, bikers, blue-collar workers, great musicians and artists who gather together to fraternise and exchange an insight into their lives all under one roof in 1950’s stylised barbershop.
Classics and Stylish, Men’s Old School Barber
#Beclassic is EDWIN Watch’s hashtag where the theme/concept of their brand is 1950’s barbershop. Therefore, they work with classic barber shops. EDWIN Watch also tends to work with the local barber in their own region. In Canada, they work with Crows Nest, Never Say Cutz in Thailand and Uncle Rocco’s in Australia. Uncle Rocco’s is the third generation barber which they demonstrate a proper classic 1950’s barber stylish hair cut.
ZALORA Singapore X EDWIN Watch Collaboration
Knowing that ZALORA is a very reliable and reputable online platform in South East Asia, particularly in Singapore, Edwin Watch was more than excited to work with them through ‘Blue Bell’ who is their distributor in Singapore when ZALORA requested to carry their products.
On the 27th of November, EDWIN Watch, Blue Bell and ZALORA hosted a brand launch event at one of Zalora pop up stores. Fabian from Uncle Rocco’s was flown in to give a complimentary hair cut to all the guests. The feedback was awesome. Most of the barbers in Singapore came to the party and expressed their love and support. EDWIN Watch truly appreciates their gesture. They will work with Singapore local barbers as well in the future.
